Scotland July 2020

First adventure in Scotland where I promised to make an “Oscar-worthy full-length film” as a report.

Of course this will work out but not right now!

It is already quite a job to sort out/select, per day, all the photos/videos and store this in separate folders.

Think of these pages as the script of said film. Unfortunately, it’s just not going to work for a while now to put music under it, record commentary , have images ‘infade'(!?) etc.

For now, the tip not to view this page on a cell phone but on a larger screen (laptop, TV, cinema).

By the way, I don’t expect you guys, because it will undoubtedly be a lot of information again, all these pages, all the way 🙂 , read but in the end it is mainly a travelogue for myself. From now on, anyway, I’m not going to promise anyone that this will be expanded so that next time I can suffice with some pictures and the route.

In this case, in the role of reader, think of it as an (interactive) book; you have to take your time with that too!
If it “gets a little too much” with all those short videos just skip them and say the next time we speak, “What beautiful mountains! 🙂

So will fill next trips/adventures with less media but in this case deliberately also in response to questions about food, navigation, water, tent locations, etc. As a result, the first few pages contain a bit more information, but the good news is that the last few days go by very quickly.

Sunday, July 19: Travel day (Schagen Glasgow)

One minute you are still at Schagen Station (photo at right) and the next you are walking through Glasgow and recording the video below (at least intended as “funny”).

Schiphol, meanwhile, was very quiet which was “nice” for once (despite the obviously miserable conditions).

In the UK, thankfully, little else had changed in all the years I hadn’t been there; beer bottles were still just on the streets.

To end the day, more jokes and pranks.

(Bear as in“Bear Grylls,” won’t resonate with everyone but more for “those who were there”).
