Cooperation between Garmin and Komoot
As an avid user of both Garmin and Komoot, this is a very convenient way to go.
I use it on both my GPS (Garmin Montana 700i) and my watch (Garmin Marq Adventurer ).
I create the routes in Komoot after which I can open them very simply on both my devices.
In doing so, I do make sure that I do store all the routes I plan to run locally in advance.
If you think you can do this only during an adventure, you may just not have coverage.
In addition to the above, I then still have a map of the area that I look at, very, regularly.
