Another beautiful village! (Champex (de Lac)), this time in Switzerland (Valais), where we will definitely go back!

The valley below (after a beautiful path in the forest) is located slightly above this village.
At the end (top) you will see the bowl where the boulders are below.

The trail itself was like a dream so beautifully rolling and lovely! (Until the boulders then! 😀 )

At the top of this day, I met a group who had come up from the other side and showed me a nice place to sleep (in a barn on the next mountain). (see tomorrow)

To me they asked what their next stretch (for me a climb, so for them a descent) was like.

Honestly told I found this to be the most difficult (ok most challenging) part of my entire route so far.

Factored into that, of course, is that it is Day 9 but more importantly, these big boulders take up a lot of time
(much more than I had estimated anyway!)
