Gas tank

Initially, I had purchased a Jetboil burner (see before that this page) and then switched to an MSR. With both burners, I initially used the original gas tanks (of that same brand).

In doing so, I did notice a difference. Especially because I use the burner not only to boil water, and thus make food, but also to dry my stuff (as best as possible). In addition, just as important, for heat!!!

Inverness, meanwhile, I have my “one stop shop” (see this link). Of course there are larger, more extensive options but in the middle of town, on the way from the hotel to the station/bus stop, this option is PERFECT!

Exact location is here (perfect spot idd 😉 ) and of course I also got into a discussion with these fellow ‘outdoor geeks’ about which gas tank is the most suitable. Put to the test with this one and I don’t want anything else!

I normally take 2 (with bad, cold and wet, weather 3) large tanks with me. This adventure I had 1 full!!! tank left over.
